THE SUBTROPIC Leaping Lizards are a Minor League Baseball team. On October 29, 2018, THE SUBTROPIC Banded Gekos officially changed their name to THE SUBTROPIC Leaping Lizards. 

The team finished 2020 with a 75-64 record, making the playoffs as a wild card, and advanced to the Governor's Cup before losing to Memphis Redbirds.

After the season, Baseball America named the Lizards the most successful MiLB franchise of the 2010s.
